Rebel Flag Tattoo - Get One! But Read this First!
Rebel flag tattoos has been a favourite for quite a long time now. Most of you will find out that many people that have a rebel flag tattoo have it as a symbol of theirsouthern heritage. To most of us having one of these tattoos is thegreatest way in showing pridefulnessin where they came from.
When people hear of other people talking about a rebel flag tattoo now days, chances are they are referring to the battle flag. This flag was designedwith the blue X over it with the white stars in the cross. This battle flag was especially created in this way because the "stars and bars" are so similar to the "stars and stripes" of the USA flag.
Other flags like the State regimental colors were used by the Confederation on the battleground. But although the Battle Flag was never officially accepted by the Confederate government, to the general public it became a symbolic representation of the "Southern Cause"
These "unrecognized" rebel flag tattoos have become increasingly popular in recent years. A lot of people are expressing their southern heritage by getting a tattoo of this kind done. This is especially evident since the Hollywood motion picture "Dukes of Hazzard" was released a few years ago, as they had a rebel flag on top of their car!
Interestingly: If you are looking at getting a permanent rebel flag tattoo, you should note that you can not give blood for an whole year after. If this is the case, then you may want to consider an alternative to a permanent tattoo. You could get an airbrushed tattoo - identical to the type that Hollywood uses in motion pictures. Obviously these are painless, and last for onlya few days.
You could also look at creating your individualized rebel flag tattoo. With the internet at your disposal, this can not be simpler. Simply do a search on one of the leading search engines (Such as Yahoo)and find copyright-free graphics that you can use.
